Coco Pebbles Cereal Bars Recipe

My family enjoys cereal bars made out of pretty much any kind of cereal. It’s a quick snack that requires little effort to make. You can’t go wrong with marshmallows, butter, and your favorite cereal. Add in a little honey and you now have a delicious snack that the whole family can enjoy.

The best part is because you are making them at home instead of buying the pre-packaged treats, you can control what goes into them. I like to try this recipe with many different kinds of cereal and so far these Coco Pebbles Cereal Bars are the favorite.

Not only is this recipe versatile but it truly is so easy. This is a fun recipe to make during a sleepover or play date because the kids can help out.

I have always loved making a big deal out of sleepovers and the treats are so important. That’s the one thing that everyone always seems to remember from the sleepovers at my house, the delicious food.

That has somehow overshadowed all of the work that went into this trampoline sleepover but these cereal bars are so good I can understand why.

Variations on this Recipe

You can use almost any cereal to make a delicious treat with this basic cereal bars recipe. I have tried Riced Krispies, the original marshmallow cereal bar treat as well as countless others.

Some of my favorites over the years are my Froot Loops Cereal Bars Recipe, Trix Cereal Bars, Fruity Pebbles Cereal Bars, and of course this Coco Pebbles Cereal Bars Recipe is the best cereal bar recipe if I do say so myself.

This recipe is so versatile and can be used for so many different cereals to create a giant spectrum of delicious gooey treats that the whole family will love.

When it comes to making a great cereal bars recipe marshmallow is the most important ingredient in my opinion. Now if only I could figure out how to make a cereal bars recipe healthy or at least make a cereal bars recipe with peanut butter.

I have thought about experimenting with other things instead of cereal, maybe I will try graham crackers or for a savory snack, cheese crackers. I think this would be an interesting combination and I may have to give it a try.

Have you tried a weird combination like this that somehow came out amazingly well? I would love to hear about it, be sure to leave me a comment below.

Great twist on the traditional Rice Krispy Treats! I've used Cinnamon Toast Crunch and added a bit of miniature marshmallows and chocolate chips after stirring in the cereal, kind of twist on S'mores. I bet your Cocoa Pebble bars would go over well in the kids' lunches!
