Hair Care Tips for Tweens

I received these hair care products in exchange for my honest review, all opinions are my own.

My mom and I have always had similar hair, it’s frizzy, curly, and extremely hard to manage. When I had my daughter I hoped she would have hair more like my husband’s side of the family, very brady like, perfectly straight, smooth, and easy to maintain.

As she got older and her hair grew out it was pretty obvious that she is like me in every way and that includes the thick and frizzy hard to maintain hair that I have been struggling with my whole life.

I have always tried my best to teach her how to take proper care of her hair but when you are dealing with frizz and curls it makes brushing your hair into a workout. She quickly gave up on the idea of having perfect hair until we tried SoCozy products and now it’s much easier to brush through as well as style in anyway she wants.

The products we received and tried out are Boing Curl Shampoo, Boing Curl Conditioner,Detangler Brush,Behave Styling Cream Soft Hold,Behave Styling Mousse Medium Hold, Splash Swim Leave-In Treatment + Detangler.

We first started out by using the Boing Curl Shampoo and the Boing Curl Conditioner then used the Splash Swim Leave-In Treatment + Detangler while brushing with the Detangler Brush.

The detangler brush is a game changer, apparently ripping through your hair with a regular brush only makes things worse.

My daughter loves these products and they really helped prevent those frizzy knotty messes we usually end up with after the shower.

When we want to do something fancy to her hair and style it in a new and fun way we use the Behave Styling Cream Soft Hold or the Behave Styling Mousse Medium Hold.

My favorite part about using these products is that she can wear her hair down without all of the frizz and it even seemed to repair the damage done by the straightener.

I never wanted to use a hair straightener on her hair because I know the damage they can cause but I also know what it’s like to have insanely hard to manage hair so I gave in to her requests and use the straightener to tame her hair before school.

Thankfully these products help and we can now cut down on the amount of times we need to use the straightener. The products made her hair look healthy again and I love that she can manage her hair these days without having a meltdown.
