My family seen Inside Out in the theater and have been counting the days until it was available for purchase. Once I found out it was available for purchase at Walmart, I rushed to the store so we could watch again and again.

We even picked up fun Inside Out toys and created an Inside Out printable game called Get Joy Back to the Console.

Inside Out Game

When I headed to Walmart I grabbed the dvd in the electronics section and headed to the toy aisle to see what Inside Out toys were available.

Inside Out

There were a lot of fun toys to choose from with all of our favorite characters from the movie. We picked up a light up version of The Console and created a fun printable game around it. When the characters are by The Console, they all light up too!

Even though we had seen the movie in the theatre I was excited to watch it again because my whole family enjoyed it so much the first time I knew it would make for a fun family movie night.

As my daughter gets older and goes through all of the different emotions that come with growing up, I feel like we have a harder time communicating our emotions. Sometimes sadness can be taken as anger and sometimes out of fear of failing as parents, we try so hard to make our kids happy but it ends up with a reaction more of disgust than greatful like we expected.

Inside Out is a fun way for the whole family to see how different scenarios cause different emotions depending on the persons perspective and I wanted to continue this learning experience even after we had watched the movie a million times.

Get Joy Back to the Console Inside Out Game

So I created a fun printable game called Get Joy Back to the Console where players will take turns trying to match random emotions and scenarios in order to return Joy to the console. I know your family will have fun playing and you may also gain a little insight on how different everyone’s emotions emerge in random situations.

Get Joy to the console but watch out for the Bing Bong card! If you flip it, you have to match all 5 emotions to the scenario, this is much harder than you think but so much fun!

You can pick up Inside Out at Walmart now and go ahead and print this game, you will be scared, sad, disgusted, angry, and happy you did! I’d love to hear how this movie helped you see things from another perspective.

The show made my son cry and opened up a discussion for us. It's a good one. I like the printable game idea.
