Relaxation Tips for Hectic Days

Some days can be more hectic than others but no matter how busy our days get it is essential to our health as well as our sanity to find even a little bit of time to dedicate to relaxation. There isn’t always time or money to head to a spa and get the full treatment that we deserve but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have a daily routine to help us destress.

Taking a little time to relax each day will not only help you get that much needed stress relief but you will feel more energized to tackle new projects and handle the new stresses that you will encounter in your everyday life.

These tips for relaxation will help you destress even if you only have five minutes

Sip a Warm Beverage

Sipping a glass of tea can be a quick way to relax and will give you a couple of minutes to reflect on your stressful day while helping you sort out the chaos so you are able to let it go. Don’t spend too much time reflecting on the negative but try to concentrate on the positive things that will help you deal with the stress in a healthier way.

Even if you don’t have an hour to take a Zumba class or a gym membership you can take a walk, get into a few yoga poses, or dance to a couple of your favorite songs. Doing something that is beneficial to your health while exerting energy can be a great way to wind down at the end of the day.

Read a Book

I love to read but I am constantly using the excuse that I just don’t have the time to start a book. I have found that seeing it this way has kept me from reading a new book for way too long! Now I spend just ten minutes reading and that may not get me zooming through a novel in a few days but it has allowed me to read a few more books that I would have otherwise never read and put off for when I had more time.

Get Organized

Your environment plats a very important role in how your day will unfold and if you are constantly spending time looking for things that never seem to be in the right place, you will constantly be facing stressful situations. Depending on how disorganized your home or workplace has become it may take more time than you have to fix this problem but spending a few minutes each day focused on tackling this problem will be well worth the effort you put in.

Relaxation Tips using Organic Aromas

You can enjoy your favorite natural scents at home or work with the Organic Aromas Nebulizing Aromatherapy Diffuser. This diffuser works without the need to heat up or add water by using the Bernoulli principle, a theorem of fluid dynamics that provides the best results when diffusing essential oil. I love that there is no plastics used in the making of the diffuser and also appreciate the 100% pure, organic essential oils that they have to offer.

There are a lot of diffusers out on the market and there seems to be a new essential oil company everyday but Organic Aromas Nebulizing Aromatherapy Diffuser allows you to release the oils into the air in the purest form. No heating or moisture necessary while delivering professional grade aromatherapy to whatever space you decide to use your diffuser.

Let me know in the comments below which relaxation tips work the best for you and how much time you take to destress each day.

  1. I love my diffuser but it isn’t as pretty as this one. It is amazing how essential oils can be you relax and as someone who suffers from chronic pain, they are an amazing help. I will be checking out this diffuser because I could use a second one.

  2. I find that if my house is clean, then my mind feels better.
Too much clutter and I can’t even string a sentence together! I don’t suffer from chronic pain but a friend does and she has mentioned that working out has helped her a lot!

  3. It is so hard to shut my mind off and relax most days. Between being a mom and working from home, life just seems so crazy. These tips are great! I’ve found that having an organized and clean home is the first step in being able to shut my mind off so I can relax. Aromatherapy is also incredibly helpful!

  4. That’s one of the prettiest diffusers I’ve ever seen…LOVE. These are such great tips. I feel like every day can turn hectic quickly…so nice to have ways to feel grounded.

  5. I find that walking relaxes my mind. I love my diffuser but this one is gorgeous! I love it’s simple and classic style.

  6. Tami Qualls says:

Most of these are things I enjoy doing. Yet, I find that I am super stressed and am not doing these things. I need to be more mindful about reading when I need to relax. I’ve also found recently that walking with my husband {and without the little guy} is a huge de-stresser.
