This can be a really stressful time for small business owners like myself because there are so many details to sort through and if you don’t get organized throughout the year when tax season approaches, it can be really stressful.

These tips for tax season prep are a great way to get organized and prepare the right way.

Not only am I filing for this tax season but I am preparing for the next tax season. I want to make sure I set myself up to save as much time as possible when preparing for tax season.   • Label Everything– There is nothing worse than fumbling through files and stacks of papers when you need a piece of information.

    In regard to taxes – I submitted all of our info to our accountant a few weeks ago already. I like getting it all in early and then not having to worry about him having enough time or not, even though we do not need to file until April 30th in Canada.
