Teaching Kids Healthy Eating

Teaching our children how to eat healthy seems to be an uphill battle. It’s easy for kids to grab an unhealthy snack when given the choice rather than a healthy choice that mom and dad would approve of. My daughter has a pretty good understanding of how foods affect the body but when she wants sweets she throws that information away and thinks with her taste buds instead. That’s why when I was asked to review and host a giveaway along with my honest opinions on this fairy tale with teachable lessons I was excited to check it out.

This is the perfect book for teaching kids about healthy eating!

Teaching Kids Healthy Eating

Sir Morgan and the Kingdom of Horrible Food is a fun fairy tale with unexpected lessons. This entertaining children’s story is a great way to teach your children about their unhealthy food choices in a way that they will listen to and understand.

Teaching Kids Healthy Eating

In this delightful children’s fairy tale you and your children will go on an adventure along with the kingdom of horrible food learning about the negative effects of fat, sugar, and calories. The residents of the kingdom eat anything they want because there are no calories to worry about until a spell is placed on the kingdom and all of the years of unhealthy eating starts effecting their bodies.

Teaching Kids Healthy Eating

After a pink fairy breaks the spell that makes the calories count and everyone goes back to their normal size they are forced to think about the foods they eat. No more are the days full of eating doughnuts and sugary treats while not thinking about the way it effected their bodies. They have to be accountable and know there are consequences to their actions when it comes to healthy eating.

My daughter and I enjoyed this book very much and the lessons she learned from this book about healthy eating are going to stay with her a lot longer than my voice warning her of the consequences of her choices.
