I am always on the lookout for quick and easy solutions for busy mornings and that was the inspiration behind this breakfast sausage casserole.
I headed to Target to stock up on all of my families favorite Eggo® products. I was really excited when I seen the promotion on the boxes that helped me save money and get more at the same time.
Buy 3 participating Eggo products with Crayola packaging and get $5 off of Crayola products. This promotion ends September 30th so I made sure to take advantage while I was there.
I love Crayola products and my daughter’s school supply list required quite few so this offer helped me save on purchases I was going to be making anyway.
During those busy school mornings I am always running around trying to make sure my daughter doesn’t forget anything that she needs for school and get her lunch packed as well as her breakfast made. I am always trying to get everything done in plenty of time so that my daughter doesn’t miss out on a good breakfast and a little down time before school.
While I prepared and baked the breakfast sausage casserole we decided to print out the free activity booklet available here and use our favorite Crayola products to enjoy a little time together before school.
Having some activity time before breakfast is a great way to fuel both mind and body. The ease and convenience of Eggo products can help save us a bunch of time in the mornings so we can always enjoy some fun time before school.
This breakfast sausage casserole recipe is so quick to prepare so it gives me plenty of time to spend with my daughter while it is baking in the oven. Plus I love one pot meals because they leave me very little to clean up after breakfast is all done.
I used the Chocolatey Chip Waffles for my recipe but you can use whatever flavor you prefer because they all go great with the rest of the ingredients in this sausage casserole. You will also need eggs, sausage patties, milk, and syrup.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and begin assembling you sausage casserole.
Create a layer of waffles on the bottom of the pan and mix your eggs with milk then pour it onto the bottom layer of waffles.
Add another layer of waffles to cover the top and pour your favorite syrup on top. Pop it into the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until your waffles are the texture of your liking.
This promotion is available in all stores and more info on the promotion will be available in the Target Circular ad the first week of September.
