I am always on the lookout for quick and easy meals that my family will love. When I found Tyson® Chicken Strips at Walmart, I knew I had to pick some up and keep them in the freezer for those nights when I forgot to take our original meal out to defrost. This happens quite often on busy days so I didn’t want just a back up plan, I wanted a delicious meal that my family would love!
I was excited about all of the quick meal options and I knew the first meal I wanted make was a Cheesy Chicken Casserole using Tyson® Chicken Strips.
I also picked up a couple of bags of Tyson® Chicken Nuggets, they are fully cooked so all I need to do is heat and serve, perfect for those really busy nights when I need an easy meal solution that is packed with protein!
They are also a great mid-day snack when you want to enjoy a great protein powered snacking option.

All you will need to make this Cheesy Chicken Casserole is:
- 2 bags of Tyson® Chicken Strips
- 1 pound of melting cheese
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 60 crackers, crumbled
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, pour half of the chicken into a casserole dish the slice the melty cheese and begin layering it on top of the chicken. Finish adding the chicken then add another layer of cheese to the top.
Crumble the crackers and sprinkle on top of the cheese. Melt butter and pour on top of the casserole evenly.
Bake in oven for about 40-45 minutes, Enjoy!

I have never thought of using precooked chicken strips in a casserole. They are pretty nasty on their own, but I can see where burying them in with a bunch of other ingredients could not only make them palatable, but could actually be quite tasty. Thanks for the idea!

Well thank you for your honesty. I also have found a lot of chicken strips to be really hard to chew and tuff. I must say that these were really good! Totally worth a try and I am one of those people who never read directions on anything but I followed them closely on here and that may be the key to delicious chicken!

I love quick and easy dinners like this. I never thought to use chicken strips like this but I know my husband would love this dinner! I am so excited to see the new peanuts movie.

Wow this looks like something that would be really easy to put together kind of last minute. There are so many evenings when I just need quick and tasty and this scores on both fronts. Plus, it's Tyson so I am sure it tastes great.
