Have you ever felt like there isn’t enough time in the day? Apply these tips for a more productive daily routine and make the most of your time!

It seems like everyday there are more tasks that need be done on top of my daily routine yet it feels like the days are shorter.

Obviously I know that there are the same amount of minutes in each day as there always have been but it really seems like more often than not there are more things that need to be done than there is time to do them in. This leads to unnecessary stress and some important things will most likely get pushed to the side when the time runs out at the end of each day.

As a blogger who works from home, I need to be self motivated and get as much done in my time as possible so I have supercharged my daily routine to make sure that everything gets done with plenty of time left over.

Implementing these tips for a more productive daily routine will ensure that you get everything done and have some of that highly coveted “me time” you so badly need!

  • Schedule/Plan
  • Multi-Task
  • Prepare Meals
  • Energy Boost
  • Reset/Recharge

Schedule/Plan- Each day comes with it’s own set of appointments and tasks that need to be done that are not typically part of your daily routine which can make it hard to plan around. When you are scheduling a doctors appointment the best way to fit it into your day seamlessly is to schedule it in the morning. Usually by the afternoon and more often in then evening, doctors tend to run behind schedule which will take more of your time waiting to get in, schedule a morning appointment to make sure you are in and out as fast as possible.

Multi-Task- Whenever possible, I like to multi task to help supercharge my daily routine. Getting several things done at one time is sure to be a time saver when it makes sense. Just be sure to match the projects in a way that helps to save time rather than wastes it. My puppy Daisy is still working on figuring this one out, she thinks snuggle time and work time are the same but this actually prevents me from working rather than helps me. Now if I can just get her to guest post on my site, I would really be able to save time!

Prepare Meals: Meal prep is a big part of my daily routine so whenever I can prepare several meals at once, I take advantage. Doubling up on cooking today can save a lot of time tomorrow and even preparing veggies for the week on Sunday can help you save time throughout the week.

Energy Boost: One of the most important parts of my daily routine is a trip to Kum & Go® to pick up my Dunkin’ Donuts® Iced Coffee.

I may switch up the flavors from day to day because I love every one of them but the daily routine is always improved when I pick up my daily fuel in either Mocha, French Vanilla, Original, and Espresso.

Sometimes I pick up two from Kum & Go to help save some time the next day if I am not heading out of the house. This way I don’t interrupt my favorite part of the daily routine but I still get my fuel for the day.

Reset/Recharge- At the end of each day no matter how much work you feel still needs to be done, you have to reset and recharge in preparation for the next day. Winding down is important to help you get the rest you need each night. Whether that is watching a movie, listening to some music, or even watching the dun go down, be sure to take some time for yourself.

Keep in mind that you can’t plan always plan every single thing out, sometimes life gets in then way of itself. You need to allow for the unexpected to pop up here and there, it’s bound to happen. Always leave early to every appointment you have because you never know what may pop up unexpectedly.

Sometimes a drive through the subdivision on the way to run errands can turn into a half hour of waiting for a crowd of deer to find their way back home. Although this was an unexpected sight that put me behind schedule, I enjoyed watching these beautiful animals wander.

No matter what life throws at you, Dunkin’ Donuts® Iced Coffee from Kum & Go will help you supercharge your daily routine. Reward yourself and find out more about the Kum & Go Reward Program by clicking here.

Super ips. I always try and plan extra time for appointments and such. I am never ever caught up. I have come to the realization as long as thebig things get done, dont always sweat the small stuff.

Having a meal plan works wonders for me. It frees up some time that I can use to attend to something else. Although multi-tasking does not work that well for me (my job requires intense focus), I think at the end of the day, I deserve some pampering!

Oh my gosh those deer! I can't imagine. I am definitely the same way since I work from home.

I always need a good energy boost haha! Multi-tasking is huge too - believe it or not, I have two laptops set up in front of me when I work - it helps a TON!
