I love Halloween and deciced to make sure I was not only prepared this year with enough candy to give out but I also wanted to enjoy this holiday with some crafting fun!
My daughter is getting older now and instead of spending the whole night trick or treating she enjoys handing out candy to the trick or treaters. We like to make it as fun for everyone as possible and most importantly we don’t want to run out of candy!
To make sure we have plently of candy we ran to Walmart and purchased a big bag of all of our favorite treats, the Goodies Galore Variety Bag as well as the Hershey Green Monster Variety Bag. It includes all of our favorites like Reese’s, Kit Kat’s, Almond Joy, and much more!
These two big bags give us 360 pieces of chocolate to decorate and hand out! I think everyone will enjoy both of these fun Halloween crafts.
All you will need to make the candy wrappers and pinata is a little imagination and a few supplies.
Depending on what kinds of scary creations you want to make, you may need a variety of colors. We created a bat pinata and a variety of different candy wrappers.
Some of my favorites were the witch, tombstone, a floating ghost, and the spider my daughter made. This is such a fun way to get into the spirit and spend some fun time crafting.
After you are done decorating the candy, you can strectch out a balloon and push the candy through the hole, fill it with air, tie it off, and then hang it with a string of ribbon.
Add colorful decorations or a face onto your DIY pinata and you are ready to have some fun with this Halloween themed craft.
How will you decorate your pinata and what will you put inside? I loaded mine with Hershey’s candy from Walmart, what will you put in yours?
