Enjoy the Taste of Draft Beer at Home

This past weekend started with a bonfire Friday night at our friend Bob’s house. We like paying Bob a visit whenever possible and this weekend we had the perfect excuse to stop by.

Bob has a pretty impressive fire pit so we planned a bonfire with S’mores and we even brought a new toy to try out which claims to deliver the fresh taste of draft beer anywhere you go.

Keep in mind that I have received this product in exchange for my honest review although as usual all opinions, even the crazy ones, are my own.

We brought over a Fizzics Waytap which boasts the ability to turn any bottle or canned beer into the great taste of draft using Fizzics Micro-Foam Technology. I was excited to see if it lived up to the hype and although I did not document everyone’s opinions like Bob suggested that I do, I know that the overall opinion of this product was very favorable.

The sleek and compact design allows you to store the Waytap on your counter top and tap into great flavor easily. It looks great in my kitchen and since it comes in different finishes you can match it to any decor.

Fizzics Waytap allows you to tap into great taste at home and enjoy that great draft beer flavor without the hefty price tag or giant machine.

Plus it is so lightweight and runs on batteries, it makes it easy to bring the fresh taste of draft to a friends house so you can share the great taste of draft beer anytime.

Bob is a very wise man so he refuses to even take a sip of beer and get behind the wheel of a car. That means the only way that Bob could enjoy the flavor of draft beer in the past was to call a cab and head to the bar or buy a kegerator which in my experience are both equally as terrible.

Personally I am not a fan of bars but I do enjoy the taste of draft beer so we have purchased a kegerator in the past. It wasn’t long before we were trying to sell it because it is not all it is cracked up to be, a large machine that took up more space than I wanted and every keg came with a hefty price tag.

Plus, when you have a kegerator nobody wants to chip in on the purchase of the beer because it is already at your house when they arrive. Then there is the worry that if the keg isn’t emptied in a certain amount of time it begins to get moldy.

Another thing I dreaded when owning a kegerator was when you purchase a keg you are forced to carry this heavy thing across town, up and down stairs or over the hills and through the woods and then until that keg is empty, that is the only kind of beer you are drinking.

With the Waytap, you can tell your buddies to pick up their favorite beer on the way over in any 12 oz bottles and cans up to 25 oz or you can bring the party to them like we did with Bob.

It was so nice to be able to spend some time relaxing at Bob’s and enjoying the flavors of draft beer with S’mores.

My husband makes the best S’mores and his secret to achieving the best flavor is patience. He spends a lot of time toasting the marshmallow to perfection unlike myself, I enjoy a good flaming marshmallow torch, you never know when you may need to protest the next statue removal.

Ooh! La! La! That's fantastic! I need one of these and of course it would be so great for any party since my family consists of all beer drinkers! lol!

Did you tell Bob about Uber? Now he can drink almost anywhere and just call Uber!

What a cool invention! After an exchange program in Germany, I was pretty much a beer drinking girl instead of the fruity drinks most of my friends like. Like you, I despise the idea of having to go to a bar (or pay a ridiculous price at a restaurant) for a good beer. I'll be checking this out!

I am not a beer drinker, but my husband enjoys it and he would love this. How fun would this be for gatherings? I like that it doesn't require you to purchase lots of ingredients and can just be used with any bottled or canned beer.

Like you, I do not frequent bars. I also do not drink draft beer. My family does, though, maybe a little too much. LOL They prefer to enjoy it at home, as well.

This would totally be up my husband's alley! He made his own beer for a while and he's very interested in craft beer (not just drinking it, lol!). I'm going to show this to him!
