Increasing productivity is always a good business move.
Putting in the extra work and getting things done is usually the only way to be more productive but every now and again you stumble upon something like the Google Pixelbook that offers many features that could increase your productivity.
Just like the old saying goes, Work Smarter not Harder.
The new High-Performance Chromebook and the smart, responsive stylus Pixelbook Pen are designed to enhance the way you work and play.
Since it is the first laptop that makes use of the productivity increasing Google Assistant built in, you will be working faster and smarter.
Making use of productivity increasing tools is also a good way to get ahead and the Pixelbook makes use of an impressive collection of apps.
At first look, the beautifully versatile Pixelbook is unbelievably thin, at just 10.3mm, Pixelbook is Google’s thinnest laptop ever.
My mind immediately goes to a negative place thinking that such a small laptop couldn’t be packing much ability but since it’s powered by Chrome OS, you’ll always have the latest security and software features.
The 360° touchscreen and versatile 4-in-1 design make you more productive by keeping you busy, working or playing, the smart way, not the hard way.
You can sketch or edit photos, stay productive with GSuite apps that Drive automatically backs up to your device, and enjoy on-or-offline access to movies and TV shows with apps like Google Play Movies and YouTube Red.
No more delays when you want to power up your laptop and get right to work, the Pixelbook starts up in under ten seconds.
It not only starts up fast but it stays fast and has a fast-charging, all-day battery.
This is the part that really gets me, can you imagine how many things you can get done on the go since you are now able to get ten hours from a single charge?
The Pixelbook Pen is another feature that really makes me want to pick up the Google Plixelbook, keep in mind though that Pixelbook Pen is sold as a separate accessory, subject to availability.
Taking notes, drawing, sketching, and using the pen as a laser pointer or magnifying glass are just some of the brilliant features that can help increase productivity.
Remember that study that claimed people who doodle are actually more likely to retain the information they are taking in?
It also claimed that those who doodle while taking in information have a better overall focus.
I can vouch for that personally.
I am a doodler from way back and have always had a pen in my hand scribbling in a notebook while at school.
My teachers never understood the concept that doodling didn’t mean I was goofing off, I was focusing better than all of the other delinquents in my class.
If only they could have seen the results of the study back then, maybe they wouldn’t have given me such a hard time when they found my scribbled on notebooks.
I was drawing anarchist symbols and anti-establishment type doodles but I did absorb the whole in 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue thing.
I just don’t think a meeting with my parents was in order, especially when the kid next to me was exposing himself in class, he grew up to be a pedophile by the way.
Seems like he could have used that attention instead of me.
I guess my teachers were not very productive with their time.
They spent too much time worrying about things that hardly mattered and very little time taking in the “real picture”, that seems to be common these days.
Like in all professions, some people are productive and some people completely miss the obvious, every time.
Everyone learns things differently and some tools help us be more productive while others will keep us distracted.
Since the Google Plixelbook is great for both work and play, you get to decide how productive you want to be.
Do you think that the Google Pixelbook can help increase your productivity or will all of the fun features keep you distracted?
