Housekeeping Tips & Printable Checklist for a Super Clean House

These Housekeeping Tips are written by me on behalf of H20 at Home. All opinions are my own.

Spring is right around the corner but that doesn’t mean we should be putting our housekeeping off until the season changes.

Use these housekeeping tips for keeping your home clean all year long and take advantage of this free clean house printable to get your house sparkling from top to bottom.

When it comes to housekeeping, I feel like I am a professional.

That may be because I used to clean houses professionally and it could also be because I spend most of my time cleaning.

Somedays it seems like I am cleaning from the time I wake up until the time I go to bed and although I enjoy cleaning my home, like everything else I wanted to make my housekeeping efforts as efficient as possible.

That’s why I have decided to create a checklist for housekeeping that covers all of the regular chores that need tending to in my home regularly.

Breaking up different household chores throughout the day, week, and the month is the perfect way to make sure everything gets done.

Some of the chores that need to get done in my house every single day are dishes.

Unfortunately, that is a chore that needs to be done multiple times a day at my house.

I don’t mind once or even twice but when it comes to washing dishes three times in one day, I am ready to pull my hair out!

Then there are those daily chores like emptying trash, sweeping, and vacuuming.

I don’t mind doing any of them once a day either but there are those days on occasion that I find myself doing them multiple times in one day as well.

Then there are those chores that only need to be done weekly at my house like cleaning the shower, dusting, and gathering laundry.

That is another one of those chores that can be done multiple times a week or even multiple times in one day depending on the season or events from day to day.

Mopping is yet another chore that may need to be done once a week but depending on the events that take place as well as the season, it may need to be done more.

That seems to happen quite often lately as my puppy Daisy seems to enjoy making extra work around the house but I don’t mind since I have the Essential Mop Kit from H20 at Home.

I especially like using the scrubber mop head as it really makes easy work of those sticky spots on my floor.

It’s nice being able to follow it up with the polisher mop head to leave a nice streak free finish on all of my floors.

The essentials mop pole is the best mop I have ever had and it is chock full of features that make my housekeeping easier.

The rubber on the end allows me to lean the mop against any surface when needed without worrying about leaving a mark or scratching up my wall, now it never falls down.

Another feature that I find pretty fantastic is the ease of adjusting the height, all the way up to five feet.

I will never need the mop to be that big because I am ridiculously short but my husband is ridiculously tall so maybe he will be able to help with the mopping now.

My favorite feature of the Essentials Mop Pole has to be that the mop head wraps around the corners allowing me to clean baseboards easily!

Another weapon in my cleaning arsenal is the Eucalyptus Floor Cleaner that omits a lovely mint fragrance made up of 100% natural ingredients.

It has a bactericidal and fungicidal effect validated by European standards for disinfection.

I love the fragrance left behind in my home after using the Eucalyptus Floor Cleaner and especially enjoy the shiny floor that is always streak free.

My grandmother used to tell me that cleaning the floor makes the whole room look better so if you are short on time and want to make a big impact, that is the chore you should focus on when cleaning your house.

I hope these housekeeping tips have helped your house shine, don’t forget to download the house cleaning printables!

I really really needed to read this today! Im so overwhelmed. I am a single mom and just went back to work after 7 years and I am going back to school. My apartment has been on the back burner for weeks. I really do need lists so I can keep things running as smooth as possible!!
