Some days can be more hectic than others but no matter how busy our days get it is essential to our health as well as our sanity to find even a little bit of time to dedicate to relaxation. Exercising is my favorite relaxation strategy, if I don't get my run in for the day then my mood definitely changes. I love to cook and bake, so spending time in the kitchen helps me relax. Preparing food helps me to just chill out, chopping fruits & vegetables and creating healthy meals for my wife and kids is therapy to me! The clean-up...Not so much!

Most of these are things I enjoy doing. Yet, I find that I am super stressed and am not doing these things. I need to be more mindful about reading when I need to relax. I've also found recently that walking with my husband {and without the little guy} is a huge de-stresser.

It is so hard to shut my mind off and relax most days. Between being a mom and working from home, life just seems so crazy. These tips are great! I've found that having an organized and clean home is the first step in being able to shut my mind off so I can relax. Aromatherapy is also incredibly helpful!
