This past weekend my daughter and I got creative and created a fun Silly Spring Slime Recipe without harsh chemicals. It is always a good time for me when I get to hang out with my daughter and be creative,  I love both of those things more than I could measure.

I knew I could count on her being interested when it comes to creating a slime recipe and we had a lot of fun mixing the colors, adding the ingredients, and of course playing with our Silly Spring Slime once we found the perfect mixture for slime.

It seems like every couple of years the interests of kids in her circle of friends have changed and this year making your own slime is the coolest thing. Or should I say Making Slime is so Bae and on fleek? Yeah, I didn’t think so either, but I am going to leave that right there because I learned that when I speak like the kids do, it absolutely drives my daughter insane, so I do it whenever possible.

Go ahead and try it out while recreating this Slime Recipe with your kids, it’s fun for the whole family!

To make your own slime recipe, start out with some plain old glue, I like the white stuff but you can use the clear if you prefer it.

We wanted a Sulfate Free Slime Recipe so we added some all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS® to our mixture next. It helps that there is always a need for a product like this in our home anyway, so it will always be on hand to make Sulfate Free Slime recipes whenever the mood strikes.

NEW sulfate free all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS® delivers a powerful clean without harshness.

Look for it on the top shelf in the laundry aisle at your local Walmart. all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS® is new to stores and has been available at Walmart since the end of April. You can pick up both fragrance-free and fresh scent in 36.4oz/28ld.

The sulfate-free formula is made of proven and effective ingredients for deep cleaning as well as stain lifting even on the toughest stains! Which is good to know while using food coloring with my daughter, we tend to get pretty messy.

The next step in this Slime Recipe is adding in some things you probably already have in your house like cornstarch, food coloring, and baking soda.

After each addition, be sure to stir and combine all ingredients completely.

The last step is to add the food coloring, the amount required for this step can vary depending on which colors you want your Silly Slime Recipe to take on.

To make a turquoise color slime, my daughter’s favorite, I added 2 drops of blue and 1 drop of the green.

To make the pink colored slime, we added a little bit of red and then mixed, when we wanted a brighter color, we added more. You can experiment one drop at a time by mixing well in between each addition of color, mixing properly is very important for this slime recipe.

If your slime is too thick, you can add a little bit more detergent at a time to thin it out but if it is too thin you can add more of the powdered ingredients or pop the slime into a freezer bag for a half an hour to thicken it.

Make sure you are storing your slime in airtight containers or freezer bags because too much exposure to air can dry it out.

It was so much fun to experiment with different slime recipes and ingredients. I like knowing what is in the slime my daughter is playing with so making my own was the way to go. The problem is these days it can be hard to identify what is actually in products we purchase.

That is why I love that all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS® includes the ingredients on the back of the bottle which may seem like common practice but you would be surprised how many items end up in our shopping carts without even telling us what is exactly in them. This is one of the first laundry products to actually let us know about what goes into what we are purchasing.

Keep that in mind when making your Silly Spring Slime Recipe and be sure to pick up all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS® when you are ready to make your own slime!
