With Memorial Day approaching as well as the Fourth of July,  I am sharing ways that everyone can celebrate America and our troops by giving back with these 7 easy ways to say thank you.

There are so many ways to say thank you to our troops and it can be as simple as giving a little time to a great cause or even making a purchase you would be making anyway to benefit them. Try out some of these ways to thank the troops, you will be glad you did!

Write a Letter– Sending a letter to our active military is a great way to say thank you to our troops. Even a short note that just says thank you or includes a little humor from back home is a much-needed escape even just for a few seconds, for our service men and women.

Say Thank You– Whenever you happen upon someone in uniform, it is always a good idea to say Thank you for your service!

Pick up the Tab– Going along with seeing a service member in uniform, another way to say thank you is to pick up their tab at a restaurant.

Donate Look for local organizations in your area that specifically benefit our troops, you can offer time, money, or even a skill you may have that can help in some way. You can click here to donate to provide troops with comfort food packages for as little as $15.

Show Up– There are many celebrations and events all over the country for our troops. Just showing up is a great way to show your support as well as give you a chance to say thank you in person.

Raise a Flag– By flying a flag in your yard, you are showing your support and saying thank you without having to even leave your home.

Purchase A Delicious Drink for Yourself-  Coca-Cola™ and the USO have come together to keep America’s military service members connected to family, home, and country, throughout their service. Coca-Cola & Sam’s Club have come together to help connect Members with the USO and provide care packages from home to soldiers overseas.

Pick up the Coca-Cola Classic cans 35 pk with USO Packaging, the new Mini Can Coca-Cola Classic 30 pk with USO Packaging, and/or Diet Coke® 35 pk. with USO Packaging to help provide care packages to troops overseas.

I picked up a couple of cases while at Sam’s Club which was already on my list anyway and it was easy as that, I helped out at no extra cost to me.

Making a purchase at Sam’s Club can help thank the troops because you will be helping to provide care packages, Coca-Cola is hoping to donate 3000-5000 USO packages overseas.

I am excited to have another reason to pick up a few cases of Diet Coke, it’s so easy because I was buying it anyway and now my purchase can help the troops!

What this group of people do for total strangers is just so much. Sometimes I think about how scared they may be in these parts of the world where they are so hated. Yet, day and night they are on the front-line fighting for freedom. We should all try to do something
