A Night Out with Vino Van Gogh & Giveaway

Thank you to Vino Van Gough for sponsoring this post.

As a busy mom with very little free time, I have a list of things I would love to do when I can find the time to relax.

I enjoy painting, hanging out with my mom, drinking a glass of wine, eating delicious foods at new restaurants, and getting away for a few hours to enjoy a relaxing night out.

If this sounds like you, listen up! There is a way to do all of these things in one incredible night out with your friends or by yourself with a group of other like-minded people, and you get to bring home a beautiful piece of art work that you created.

I was lucky enough to attend an event in exchange for my honest review of Vino Van Gogh and I am so excited to share my experience with you as well as offer a giveaway for 2 people to enjoy a night of painting fun!

Everything is waiting for you, all you have to do is pick a date and location that works best for you and your guest.

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the artist and his assistant, who checked us in to the event.

We chose our seats and put on our aprons that were waiting for us at our seats. As everyone was arriving I took a few pictures to show the set up so you could get an idea of what to expect. Everyone is supplied with an apron, paint, paint brushes, water, paper towel, and a canvas.

Everything that you will need to create a beautiful masterpiece, even if you thought you weren’t able to, is supplied as well as instruction on how to make your painting.

Our instructor was John Chehak, an artist with quite an impressive collection of paintings that can be seen here.

The event began with John introducing himself and Vino Van Gogh. He let us know that we could have a private party where only our friends would attend like for a bridal shower or birthday party. Now that sounds like a good time!

When it was time to paint I could tell some of the attendees were nervous that they would not be able to create the painting that we were working on, and my mom was no different. She was skeptical every step of the way and was sure her painting wouldn’t come out as good as she had hoped but I knew she could do it, and so can you!

We started by painting the background blue and white, following the techniques John showed us. After everyone had their background finished John encouraged us to get up, walk around, and have a peek at the other artists work. This really helped my mom and I gain perspective on our own picture.

I was amazed how different everyone’s photos looked even though we were all given the same instruction, tools, and paints to use. Everyone brought their own personality to their pictures and it really made them unique and beautiful!
