Getting ready for Game Day Events in my home is almost as much fun as the actual game day to me. I decided to make a Spicy Cheese Dip that I know everyone will love and it pairs perfectly with Coca-Cola as well as Coke Zero which meant I had a reason to take a trip to one of my favorite stores to pick up supplies.
Not only do I always find the best deals at Dollar General but I love that they have so many products all under one roof. I can just head to one store and pick up everything I need to have the best game day celebration with my family and friends.
My shopping list included ingredients for my spicy cheese dip recipe as well as Coca-Cola and Coke Zero. I was also able to pick up napkins and paper plates to make clean up easier after the big game.
When selecting which drinks to serve it was a super easy decision. The display in Dollar General made it really easy to find my families favorite beverages, Coca-Cola and Coke Zero. Everyone in my family has been drinking Coca-Cola products for as long as I can remember and whenever I come across a good coupon, I have to stock up!
After shopping I headed home to make the spicy cheese dip and to get everything else ready before people started arriving to root their teams on.
This was a very special game day at my home because my husbands favorite team was playing my moms favorite team and in my opinion there is nothing more entertaining than seeing the two of them battle it out. The excitement and anticipation of their teams next move is enough to make anyone want to pick a side, grab a soda, and eat some cheese dip while being glued to the screen right next to them.
So I got to work making the cheese dip and getting the drinks on ice, thankfully this recipe is insanely easy to make because I may have watched some pregame with my husband when I should have been getting things prepared.
In a medium sauce pan, heat the beans until warm and then add the taco seasoning.
Stir in the hot sauce and Mexican cheese as well as the cayenne pepper. Mix everything together completely. Add sour cream and cook on medium heat until hot, stirring occasionally to prevent burning to the pan.
Add to serving dish, sprinkle shredded cheese on top as a garnish. Serve with crackers, Coca-Cola, and Coke Zero.
Do you enjoy watching the game with fans of the opposing team?

I'll be watching the big game this weekend with some friends and family. I just might have to prepare this Cheese Dip, I like it spicy and it seems with the hot sauce and cayenne it will fit the bill! I really don't care who wins, just hope its a good game.
