My family has always loved oatmeal but I have never thought about making it myself. I usually buy the instant kind from our local grocery store and pop it into the microwave.

Now that I know how easy it is to make and how delicious homemade oatmeal can taste, I will be creating all kinds of fun flavors for my family to try.

It comes with a non stick cooking pot, a strainer, a paddle, and a measuring cup to help create lots of recipes that are not only easy to make but delicious, too!

I love one pot meals and with the 4-20 Cup Rice and Hot Cereal Cooker, I can make brown rice, farro, quinoa, and other whole grains as well as steamed vegetables, oatmeal, pasta, meats, fish, and so much more.

My favorite kind of recipes are one-pot meals because the cleanup is so easy and it really saves me a lot of time. One of my newest favorite recipes is this Apples & Cinnamon Oatmeal made in the 4-20 Cup Rice and Hot Cereal Cooker.

My favorite so far is this Apples & Cinnamon Oatmeal recipe that can be cooked overnight and ready to serve in the morning when you just don’t feel like cooking.

All you need to make your own homemade Apples & Cinnamon Oatmeal recipe is 2 Cups of Old Fashioned Oats, 4 Cups of Water, 1/2 Cup of Dried Apples, a Dash of Salt, 2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon, 2 Teaspoons of Sugar, 2 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar and 2 Tablespoons of Butter.

Delay start at least 6 hours or overnight heat, and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in sugar and butter. This recipe can be made immediately without delay option if you would like.

This is one of my favorite recipes to make on days like Thanksgiving when I don’t want to add another meal to my to-do list.

  2. A rice cooker would be a godsend. I would finally be able to make some progress on the 40 lb bag of rice my roommate and I bought at Kitchen Depot. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but now it just sits in the corner of my pantry, mocking me for my hubris.

  3. Your Apples & Cinnamon Oatmeal sounds wonderful! I might try a Black and Brown Rice Pudding with figs and pecans that I make “for company” sometimes.

  4. I would probably make rice in this. We eat a lot of rice and beans with our Mexican meals. I like to freeze leftovers also for quick sides.

    • Unfortunately I keep hearing problems like this one, the giveaway form is a new one I am trying out and so far it is not going so well. It is unfortunate that it is not working properly but I am thankful that everyone is having the same issue so it will not give entries to some and not others. I hope to have this fixed soon! Thank you for informing me!
