Step 2: Prepare the Breading

In a bowl, whisk two eggs thoroughly. In another bowl, combine all the chicken Parmesan seasonings and flour, creating a well-blended mixture.

Step 3: Dredge the Chicken

Heat a frying pan on high, adding a drizzle of olive oil for an extra layer of flavor. Dip each chicken cutlet into the beaten eggs, then dredge it generously in the seasoned flour mixture.

Step 4: Crisp the Chicken

Preheat your oven to 450°F.

Place the coated chicken breasts into the heated frying pan, adding a drizzle of olive oil on top for that perfect crispiness.

Step 5: Lock in the Juices

Cover the pan and cook for approximately 5 minutes on each side or until the edges boast a golden brown hue, remembering to cover the pan after each flip.

The cooking time may vary based on the thickness of your chicken breast.

Step 6: Prepare the Baking Dish

Once your chicken parmesan achieves a delightful blend of crispy exterior and fully cooked interior, transfer it from the stove top to a lasagna pan, casserole dish or any rectangular baking dish.

For easier cleaning, consider pouring a bit of sauce onto the pan before adding the chicken, reducing the likelihood of chicken pieces sticking.

Step 7: Add the Sauce

With the chicken in place, cover it generously with the remaining tomato sauce and sprinkle a layer of cheese on top.

Cook Time: 12 minutes
Total Time: 19 minutes

  • 2 Lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2-3 Teaspoons of Olive Oil to Grease Pan
  • 1/2 Cup of Almond Flour
  • 1/4 Cup of Coconut Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon of Oregano
  • 1 Teaspoon of Basil
  • 3 Tablespoons of Garlic Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons of Onion Powder
  • 3 Cups of Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Cups of shredded provolone cheese

  1. Start with boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced and trimmed of fat, creating a thin chicken cutlet.
  2. Once your chicken is prepared, beat two eggs in a bowl. Then in another bowl add all of the chicken Parmesan seasonings and flour, stirring together until well combined.
  3. Add a drizzle of olive oil to your frying pan and begin heating the pan on a high setting.
  4. Dip the chicken cutlets into the egg and then dredge the chicken in the bowl of seasoning.
  5. Preheat your oven to 450 and then place each coated chicken breast into the heated frying pan, adding a drizzle of olive oil on top.
  6. Cover the pan and let cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until the edges are golden brown, covering after each flip. The stove top cooking time of your chicken Parmesan will vary depending on the thickness of your chicken breast.
  7. When chicken is fully cooked inside and crispy on the outside, remove from the stove top. Place the chicken inside of a lasagna pan or rectangular baking dish.
  8. If you pour a little sauce onto the bottom of the pan before adding the chicken, it will be easier to clean later with fewer chicken pieces sticking to it.
  9. After adding the chicken to the pan, pour the rest of your tomato sauce on top and sprinkle with cheese.
  10. Bake for another 5-7 minutes or until your cheese on top has melted.
