Gluten Free SCD Chicken Parmesan Paleo Recipe

If you enjoy a delicious Italian meal then this SCD Chicken Parmesan Recipe is the perfect dinner option. This recipe is also perfect for those following the paleo diet or anyone who enjoys a yummy gluten-free dinner.

Gluten Free SCD Chicken Parmesan Paleo Recipe

Cooking for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet can be hard at first but I have found that once you find a few good recipes that you enjoy, it gets a lot easier. This Chicken Parmesan Recipe is one of my go-tos whenever I need something quick and delicious to cook for my whole family. My husband has always loved my Chicken Parmesan so it was only a matter of time before I made a pan of SCD Chicken Parmesan.

I love making dinners that don’t require pulling every pot and pan out of the cabinets. This Chicken Parmesan Recipe requires only two pans, a frying pan and a lasagna pan. I also used two bowls to coat the chicken and a spatula to flip it while in the frying pan. The cleanup and cook time on this Gluten Free Chicken Parmesan is pretty impressive considering a lot of SCD Recipes can be intimidating with the many rules that come with the diet.

If you are not familiar with SCD and want to learn more, you can click here to read all about it.

If you are following a gluten-free diet, Paleo, Keto, or Whole 30, you can find a lot of recipes using only real food, here. I have been cooking this way for some time now so I have quite a few recipes to share and have already added a bunch of them which you can find under the Recipes tab then clicking on SCD Recipes.

You will find that most of my recipes are super easy to recreate because who has the time to create complex recipes that require your entire day to make? Not this time-crunched supermom, so I just make these recipes taste like they took all day but in reality, I just threw it all together in less than a half hour usually.

You will see how easy it is after making this SCD Chicken Parmesan Recipe and finding out just how simple gluten-free cooking can be.

Gluten Free SCD Chicken Parmesan Paleo Recipe

It begins with boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced and trimmed of fat, creating a thin chicken cutlet.

Once your chicken is prepared, beat two eggs in a bowl. Then in another bowl add all of the chicken parmesan seasonings and flour, stirring together until well combined.

Add a drizzle of olive oil to your frying pan and begin heating the pan on a high setting.

Dip the chicken cutlets into the egg and then dredge the chicken in the bowl of seasoning.

Preheat your oven to 450 and then place each coated chicken breast into the heated frying pan, adding a drizzle of olive oil on top.

Cover the pan and let cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until the edges are golden brown, covering after each flip. The stovetop cooking time of your chicken parmesan will vary depending on the thickness of your chicken breast.

When chicken is fully cooked inside and crispy on the outside, remove from the stove top. Place the chicken inside of a lasagna pan or rectangular baking dish.

If you pour a little sauce onto the bottom of the pan before adding the chicken, it will be easier to clean later with fewer chicken pieces sticking to it.

After adding the chicken to the pan, pour the rest of your tomato sauce on top and sprinkle with cheese.

Bake for another 5-7 minutes or until your cheese on top has melted.
