I have heard time and time again that these are the best deviled eggs and since this is such an easy recipe for the keto diet, this is my favorite way to make them.

The best part is that you can customize this recipe to work for you, there are many different ways to boil eggs .

You can use your instant pot to make hard boiled eggs or bring eggs in a pot of water to a rolling boil on the stove.

Whichever way you decide is easiest for you to prepare the egg whites and egg yolks, with this recipe you will have the perfect snack for any holiday party.

Low Carb Deviled Eggs Recipe

How are these Deviled Eggs so Easy to Make?

This Simple deviled eggs recipe is packed with the perfect amount of flavor and surprisingly not a lot of ingredients.

The inspiration for this easy deviled eggs recipe comes from my family being really, really picky about the recipe I used to make.

Apparently, I am the only mustard lover in my home and I tend to use it a bit too much. Another ingredient I usually pour on pretty heavy before being met with complaints is cayenne pepper.

So I decided to ease up on these two ingredients a bit and add in a few others to make the family happy, all while keeping the deviled eggs easy to make.

Are Deviled Eggs a Healthy Snack?

Yes! This deviled eggs recipe makes a perfectly healthy snack that fits into lots of different diets.

Low in carbs, and very filling, it’s always a good idea to have some deviled eggs prepared for when the cravings hit.

It’s the kind of healthy snack that doesn’t seem like it’s healthy because it is so good and satisfying.

Are Deviled Eggs Keto Friendly?

Yes! This deviled eggs recipe is keto-friendly. These are keto deviled eggs. I love being able to have a quick and easy go-to recipe while following Keto.

Since this recipe is so easy to make, I usually have a good supply at all times.

I have found that the best way to avoid eating bad foods is to have a constant supply of good foods readily available.

Since healthier foods tend to need a little more prep work, it’s a good idea to plan ahead.

This will help you avoid the temptation to grab something quick and unhealthy.

How to Make the Best Deviled Eggs

Boil eggs, peel, and allow to cool in cold water or an ice bath. Sometimes just bringing the eggs down to room temperature can make for an easy peel but the cold water helps speed up the process.

This is something that I usually do well in advance of preparing these deviled eggs.

I always have a healthy supply of eggs in my fridge because they are a great snack for keto and my dog loves them!

She actually sits right next to the sink when I am peeling them, every single time I make them.

How to Make Deviled Eggs Look Pretty

After allowing your eggs to cool, cut them in half.

Using a spoon, hollow out the center and put the yolk into a bowl.

If your shapes aren’t perfect, there is no need to worry at this point.

The filling will cover any imperfections in the appearance.

Plus, the last step is (spoiler alert) to sprinkle chives and cayenne pepper on top.

This step will help disguise whatever the filling didn’t cover-up.

Add all of the ingredients except the chives and cayenne pepper to the bowl with the yolks, then mix the ingredients together until well combined.

After everything is well combined, scoop the egg yolk filling into the egg halves. If you have the need to really show off, use a piping bag to add the filling.

Use a fork to fluff up the filling for a neater look if you’d like to, this is not necessary for the deviled eggs to come out best, the flavor will be the same.

Assemble your deviled eggs on a serving tray or in an airtight container.

Sprinkle the tops with the chives and cayenne pepper. You can sprinkle on extras if you desire, some of my favorites include black pepper, bacon bits, sea salt, or an extra sprinkle of paprika.

Serve after chilling in the refrigerator for about an hour.

Your version of this classic dish sounds delicious and easy. Seems like the secret to its success may be in using two different kinds of mustard.
