It can be hard to cook keto recipes that meet all of the most important requirements for dinner at my house. The most important thing is that everyone likes it, of course, and my family is kind of picky so this has proven to be difficult at times.
The next thing that I try to keep in mind when creating new keto recipes is that it has to be filling to keep us from snacking later, and even better is if there are leftovers for lunch the next day. One thing that is not always possible but always appreciated is when a keto recipe can be made fast or in the crockpot.
I have always loved making crockpot recipes but when it comes to making crockpot keto recipes, I have only tried a few. Like a lot of people on a low carb diet, we got stuck in a rut of eating the same keto recipes over and over again.
I was tired of eating the same old thing so my experimenting with keto crockpot recipes was at the top of my to-do list.

This is the crockpot that I use, it automatically stirs and it comes with two different paddles. When making this keto crockpot recipe I use the paddle with prongs because it does an excellent job at shredding the chicken.
A self-stirring crockpot seemed like something I would never need but after getting it as a gift from my husband, I gave it a shot. Now that I have it, I will never go back to the traditional slow cooker, the programmable stirring takes my recipes to the next level.
You can manually stir this keto crockpot recipe and get the same results but I would always prefer to, set it and forget it, like the old commercial used to say. I enjoy using a crockpot because it almost feels like I have a night off from cooking.
I love being able to prepare dinner in the morning, it really opens up the rest of the day for me and I seem to be more productive because of it.

Making fast keto recipes for dinner has been my goal ever since my husband started eating low carb recipes with me. I always fantasize about the idea of whipping dinner up in just a couple of minutes but it hasn’t really panned out for me yet.
It seems like all of our favorite keto recipes are very labor-intensive. So I was determined to find a recipe that we both enjoy and one that doesn’t take all night to prepare. I knew the crockpot would be the answer so I started to experiment with crockpot keto recipes and came up with this Cheesy Keto Crockpot Chicken Recipe.

I feel more productive when I make a crockpot meal in the morning too, for dinner later that evening. It frees up so much time. I didn't know there was such a thing as a self-turning crockpot. So cool!
