Tips for Cleaning a Bathroom, the right way!
Whenever guests come to my home I am always sure to tidy up any visible messes and make my home look as beautiful as possible but that doesn’t always mean that it is actually clean.
With the flu season approaching and having lots of guests coming in and out of my home, I decided to give my high traffic areas a real good deep clean.
One room that seems to be a petri dish of germs is the bathroom and while it may look clean I know there are many germs lurking throughout.
When I want to clean a bathroom the right way I run through a mental checklist of areas that are most likely infested with germs and I attack back with Mean Green Anti-Bacterial Multi-Surface Cleaner. It kills 99.9% of germs and cuts through tough grease and grime.
In order to clean a bathroom the right way, you need to know where the germs are and some of them are hiding in not so obvious places.
The faucet is covered in germs from dirty hands turning it on to wash and spray back from the sink, even if it looks shiny it could use a squirt from the anti-bacterial cleaner.
Inside the sink is where most of the germs will be washed down the drain but some of them will hang on for dear life only to create havoc later. Also, think about when you brush your teeth and rinse your mouth, all of those germs are now sitting inside your skin.
Go ahead and hit it with the cleaner, let it sit for 10 minutes to be most effective against some viruses like the Avian Influenza Virus A H5N1, Herpes Simplex Type 1 Virus, and more.
Everyone that goes in and out of your bathroom is going to touch the door handle whether they wash their hands or not. That thought alone makes me want to soak the handle in Mean Green Anti-Bacterial Multi-Surface cleaner for a good ten minutes.
We have all heard of overspray from when we flush the toilet. It’s a good idea to keep your lid closed when you flush but not everyone will follow that rule so be sure to give the floor around your toilet the anti-bacterial treatment.
The toilet has all kinds of undesirable messes going on but the most important thing to remember when cleaning a bathroom right is to give the flush handle the complete anti-bacterial treatment.
This handle has seen some things and if you don’t thoroughly clean this area you may as well not even attempt to clean your bathroom at all, this is germ central!
Do you clean your bathroom with antibacterial cleaners or are you more worried about how clean it looks on the surface?

I am going to be sending this to hubby because he doesn't think there is a right or wrong way to clean a bathroom but this will show him that there is :)

I need to get myself a bottle of that Mean Green Anti-Bacterial Multi-Surface cleaner. Now that my daughter is walking all over the place, I have to be extra careful when I clean the bathroom to make sure I get all the little spots that she will most likely touch.
